We welcome our testnet… Now you can install it in your metamask wallet and claim your first KNB!
Kronobit takes an important step to continue consolidating itself as a project to keep in mind in the crypto world. Now Kronobit is no longer a token to become a currency with its own blockchain and its name is Qbit networks blockchain.
One of the things we are proud that this has happened is that now you will be able to see all the transactions in real time that take place in the network through a single click from https://testnet-explorer.qbitscan.com
Another novelty that you will find within Qbitscan is the possibility of installing the Qbit networks test network with a single click.
To do this, you must scroll to the bottom of the page and you will find the button [Add KNB Network].
Clicking this will bring up a notification in your metamask wallet asking “Allow this site to add a network?”. In order for you to add the network, you only have to click on [OK].
Once this is done, a second notification will appear asking “Do you allow this site to change the network?”. In case you are in any other network than the qbit network, you must click on [Change network].
If you have done each step correctly then you just have to go to your metamask wallet and click [Got it]. This way you will have successfully added the qbit networks testnet.
Network Name: Qbit Networks Chain Testnet
New RPC URL: https://testnet-rpc.qbitscan.com/
Block Explorer URL: https://testnet-explorer.qbitscan.com/
Once you save the network and return to the main view, you will notice that the network has been automatically configured and the units are denominated in KNB.
Making transactions (on the testnet)
Next, let’s get some funds to play with. Hover over Account 1, and click to copy your address to the clipboard. We’ll head over to the Qbit networks faucet and paste it into the form.
Click the [Request] button. You may have to wait a few minutes, but the funds will appear in your testnet wallet imminently.
From here, we’ll send the funds somewhere to demonstrate how it works. We just got a random Tesnet Qbitscan address which we will donate it to. Go ahead and click [Submit].
We settled on a 1 KNB transaction. We will leave the rates intact and press Next. Then we have one more opportunity to review the transaction; If everything looks fine, tap [Confirm]. And that is! You will receive a notification informing you when your transaction is settled.
